A cleaner and safer South West Devon

Rebecca is committed to working with the community to protect the environment of South West Devon and beyond.

Whether living in a rural or urban community, we can all play our part to protect our waterways and green spaces, promote biodiversity and reduce our carbon footprint.

Supporting local cycling campaigners, encouraging the growth of renewable energy and promoting clean water and energy security will enable South West Devon to face the future with confidence. For several years, Rebecca has been supporting local cycling and walking groups as they call for better and safer routes for travel. With many off-grid homes locally, Rebecca has been promoting the options for energy security including alternative fuels. Finding practical, long term solutions to our Victorian water infrastructure is a priority, as is holding SW Water to account to see our beautiful coastline protected and thriving for future generations. Rebecca has also used her former roles as Chair of Planning and Cabinet Member for Strategic Planning to push for tougher requirements of developers in terms of requirements such as solar, EV charging points and delivering green and blue diversity net gain.

Rebecca is always pleased to meet local groups working to protect the environment and promote ways to tackle climate change. Do get in touch if you would like to have a conversation.
