You may remember that several months ago, I launched my petition to protect the Veterans and Armed Forces Railcard. Since then, well over 1,000 people have signed, which shows just how strongly people feel about this.
Thanks to the support of hundreds of people, this campaign is already making an impact. The Conservative Party has confirmed this week that a future Conservative government will protect the Veterans Railcard in law.
But there’s more to do. The Labour Government has repeatedly voted against putting these railcards into law, leaving their future uncertain.
