Hillcrest

This project has going on this behind the scenes for months and I am really pleased this exciting deal has pulled off. To gain 86 homes in one go like this is a really big deal! It has been a privilege to be involved in getting the work over the line.

A funding package totalling £7.6million has enabled Plymouth Community Homes to purchase 86 three-bed homes at Hillcrest Close in Plympton, as well as 80 garages.

Using grants provided by Homes England and Plymouth City Council, the homes will be refurbished as part of a £21.5million project, with at least 53 for social rent and 20 for shared ownership through our sales brand SO Living. Twelve families currently living in some of the homes will also see their tenancies transfer to PCH after years of uncertainty. You can read more here.
