Why local rail matters.
I’ve always believed that investing in local rail is about much more than improving journeys. It’s about supporting local businesses, creating jobs and making it easier for people to get around.
That’s why I’ve been campaigning for improvements including reopening the Tavy Line, extending the platform at Ivybridge and making the case for a new station at Plympton.
