A busy Saturday!
Coffee and canvassing in Newton Ferrers in the sunshine was a great way to start the day. Plenty of conversations about the local pharmacy, views on proposes to changes our local councils, the economy, housing and more! Out supporting Richard Hosking for South Brent & Yealmpton.
Managed to fit in a hair appointment in Elburton where I met a lovely a-level politics student before spending an hour with 99 year old Ivor Foster in Hooe. I’ve known Ivor for a few years now and we’ve worked on a number of issues together. Today was about Second World War veterans as we approach the 80th anniversary of VE and VJ Day and making sense of pensions when you’re nearly 100!
