Great to catch up with Plymouth’s Chief Superintendent Matt Longman earlier today. I previously worked with him during my time as Chair of the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Commission and it was good to continue that important conversation.
We also discussed the action being taken to improve neighbourhood policing, police response times and the ongoing work across Plymouth to keep communities safe. Strong local policing, quicker responses, and tackling violence against women and girls remain top priorities.
