Many of you will remember that back in April I was made aware of concerns about the condition of the Cadleigh to Cornwood Road, and I’ve been actively seeking updates on planned improvements from Devon County Council.
I'm incredibly pleased to share that, following the Council's confirmation earlier this year that works would be going ahead in September, patching works along this road have now been completed!
These repairs will make a real difference to the safety and quality of the route for all road users and for those in our community. The patching work also forms part of a longer-term plan, as it will help prepare the road for a more substantial surface dressing treatment which is scheduled for summer 2026.
