Thank you to everyone who came along to my coffee drop-in at The Woolwell Centre today.
It was great to meet with so many of you, discuss a wide range of local and national issues, and pick up some casework matters which my team and I will now be taking forward.
I’m also aware that some residents in Woolwell and Bickleigh have only just started receiving their invitation letters, despite these being sent out last week. I’m sorry to anyone who may have missed the event as a result. I have now raised this with Royal Mail to better understand what has happened.
I’m keen to make these events as accessible as possible, so future drop-ins will be held on a mixture of weekdays, weekends and evenings. The next one is planned for 17th July, so do keep an eye on my social media for further details.
Thank you again to the 50 or so people who attended for giving up your time to meet with me, and to the Woolwell Centre for hosting us so well. I look forward to seeing many more of you at future coffee mornings!
