Local doctor designs groundbreaking solution to skin health screening 👨⚕️📸
Yesterday, I raised 'Map My Mole' in Parliament, an innovative solution to skin health screening thought up by my constituent and NHS dermatologist Dr Toby Nelson.
This new technology sends an image capture kit to patients to attach to their smartphones. High-resolution images can be reviewed remotely by a specialist, bypassing the need for a GP appointment and freeing up time and resources. Early pilots have been extremely successful.
I am pleased that my lobbying efforts have cut through and the Care Minister has agreed to consider Dr Toby's solution in more detail.
