Thank you to everyone who has already signed my petition calling for Mount Batten Beach and Peninsula to be safely reopened.
I know everyone involved wants to see Mount Batten safely reopened. The focus now has to be on getting the right specialist expertise in place as quickly as possible, giving local people the answers they need and making sure everything possible is being done to move things forward.
Over 1,100 people have already added their names, showing both Plymouth City Council and the Government just how much this matters to swimmers, watersports users, businesses and the wider community.
