Rebecca demands Government take action on FirstPort

Sherford residents are being categorically failed by FirstPort and left waiting for a promised supermarket, GP and other vital local amenities. National Grid pylons need to be moved at an enormous cost to the taxpayer to build more homes.

I have asked Angela Rayner what actions she has taken to find solutions as the Labour Secretary of State for Housing. Her vague reference to Section 106 notices will do little to reassure residents in Sherford that this government is acting on their concerns.

I will continue to work day and night to ensure that Sherford residents are listened to by FirstPort, local authorities and this Labour Government.
