After months of pressure from survivors, campaigners, and Conservatives, Labour has finally agreed to a statutory inquiry into grooming gangs.
Let's not forget that:
- Labour rejected our calls.
- Keir Starmer dismissed calls for a national inquiry as a far-right stunt.
- The Prime Minister only acted after more than 150,000 people demanded justice.
We have consistently called for a proper, independent inquiry - not just headline chasing, but real action.
As Conservatives, we will hold Labour to their promise. Victims deserve justice, not political convenience
