It was a real pleasure to host today’s Creative Industries Careers event at The Watermark, Ivybridge, after National Charity, Catch22 approached me to help bring this event to life using my local connections here in the South West.
I know how challenging it can be to access roles in the creative industries. That’s why events like today are so important as they bring advice, opportunities, and industry voices directly to young people here in South West Devon.
It was also a pleasure to hear from Roger, Louise, and Jack, who each shared their personal journeys in the creative sector - offering valuable insights and brilliant advice to students from Ivybridge Community College on how to take those important first steps into this fast-growing industry.
