abour’s Budget: What are your thoughts?
A couple of weeks ago, I launched my pre-budget survey ahead of Labour’s Budget. The response was overwhelming, with nearly 90% of respondents telling me they were worried about what the Budget would mean for them.
After yesterday’s Budget statement, I spoke in Parliament to highlight the concerns and issues you raised with me.
What was clear from my survey is that this Budget is out of step with what people wanted: lower taxes, support for work, and relief for SMEs. You can watch my contribution to the debate below.
