Supporting Devon Air Ambulance
It was great to meet with Greg and Tania from Devon Air Ambulance in Parliament.
On average, an air ambulance mission takes place somewhere in the UK every 12 minutes. A reminder of just how important these services are, providing specialist critical care when every second counts.
Devon Air Ambulance does incredible work, often helping people in some of the most challenging and remote locations. Many families across South West Devon will know just how vital that support can be. You may remember I did a sponsored abseil at the Citadel to raise money after my friend Steve was rescued off Dartmoor by Devon Air Ambulance.
We also discussed the pressures facing the sector and the importance of ensuring air ambulance charities can continue delivering these lifesaving services for years to come.
A huge thank you to Greg, Tania and the whole Devon Air Ambulance team for meeting with me and for everything they do.
