A rare working from home day today before I go away tomorrow for a little break so I’m catching up on some of the meetings I had before the recess!
One was a brilliant chat on the House of Commons Terrace with Philip from Hattiers Rum. Although this local rum distillery is located near Holbeton in the constituency, we met in Westminster whilst Philip was in the city for meetings.
It was exciting to hear about this little gem of a local business which is already punching above its weight, stocking outlets like Fortnum and Mason and John Lewis! Their production is B-Corp certified meaning it is produced to the highest social and environmental standards.
Can’t wait for a visit and tasting in a few weeks and supporting however I can.
