Plymstock Aldi, Market Square and new homes
After being out and about on the doors in Saltram Meadow, I had a well-timed meeting with local Persimmon head, Robbie Brown for an update on progress at Saltram Meadow.
Having represented the growing number of residents in this community for over 8 years, I’ve followed its development closely and worked closely with Plymouth City Council planners and Persimmon as issues have arisen to get them sorted. Although I am no longer the councillor for the area, meaning less influence over planning details, I remain committed to ensuring this community grows well.
It was exciting to see drawings for future phases of homes, the Market Square, play area and leisure space, and of course – the long-awaited Aldi supermarket.
I was also able to raise recent issues raised with me around the execution of planning permission, Firstport and estate management fees and parking and transport issues.
