Read my letter to Cllr Tudor Evans about delays on Deep Lane
I have today written to Cllr Tudor Evans, Leader of Plymouth City Council, regarding delays to the proposed improvements at Deep Lane. This is a key junction for South West Devon residents north and south of the A38, and I continue to hear from residents and businesses about the impact of congestion.
It is important that the scheme to widen the slip road and bridge progresses, not least given the risk to the funding secured for the works and the wider benefits it would bring to the local road network and economy.
