Rebecca raises concerns about Beryl’s Plymouth service cuts

I am concerned to learn about the scaling back of Beryl's Plymouth service which could lead to users facing accidental charges.

Beryl have announced today that they will be 'consolidating the service area', removing Plympton and Plymstock. I am concerned that these changes will not only cut off Beryl users in Plympton and Plymstock, but also that they will incur charges for leaving their hired bikes at previously approved Beryl Bays outside of the new service area. The out-of-zone fee for 24+ hours is £80!

I am contacting Beryl to seek assurances on this and ask why they are pulling their service for my constituents. I have met with key cycle groups such as Plymouth Cycling Campaign Forum since elected and want to see improvements made to our cycle network in South West Devon. I will share any response I receive from Beryl.
