The new town of Sherford was promised a swimming pool. This would also deliver on an historic promise of a Plymstock pool. Yet whilst slow progress is made towards delivering one, residents who bought their homes on this promise are left waiting.
I raised this important issue in Parliament on Wednesday, arguing for the Labour Government to ensure that their housing plans ensure funding is in place for leisure facilities in new towns like Sherford.
