A rather special day yesterday. I was hugely privileged to attend a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace with my mum.
I’m a huge royalist so to be able to attend, visit the palace gardens and see members of the Royal Family up close was wonderful! Whilst the King and Queen weren’t there, it was lovely to see the Prince and Princess of Wales, Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and Zara Tindall.
There were so many people from right across the country, all dressed up in their finery and excited to be there too.
It was especially nice to meet some South West Devon constituents, Alex and Katie from Chaddlewood! They were invited because of Alex’s long service with the Royal Navy.
There may well have been others there from our community too - hope you enjoyed it too!!
