I’ve been reflecting on a brilliant afternoon at Oceanology International earlier this week.
It was a privilege to speak at the global launch of Plymouth as the National Centre for Marine Autonomy.
Being able to support the Plymouth and South Devon Freeport , businesses like Turnchapel Wharf, Fugro, Oshen, M Subs Ltd, ZeroUSV, Helsing, ACUA Ocean and Marine AI whilst also representing the city and wider marine autonomy ecosystem to those looking to take advantage of all the NCMA has to offer, meant it was a very constructive few hours.
Great to catch up with other local leaders, Plymouth City Council, University of Plymouth, Team Plymouth, the Marine Biological Association and many many more!
Huge congratulations to everyone for a fantastic showcase! I felt very proud of all that’s going on in Plymouth and South West Devon!
