Ready to Read to the Beat?
I’ve always loved a good read, so it was lovely to pop into Plympton Library recently and pick out a new book for the summer.
Whilst I was there, it was great to hear more about this year’s Summer Reading Challenge. The theme is ‘Read to the Beat!’, celebrating the joy of music and reading.
Children aged 4 to 11 can take part by reading six books over the holidays, collecting stickers along the way and earning a medal and certificate if they complete it!
It’s free to join and is running at all Plymouth libraries, including Plympton and Plymstock, until the 19th September. A great way to keep younger readers busy over the next few weeks!
