Making the most of the half term recess!
This morning I had breakfast at the Naval Base with Defence Minister, Lord Coaker, Devonport MP, Luke Pollard and the new Naval Base Commander, Commodore Jane Roe.
Lord Coaker is the Defence ministerial lead for Team Plymouth and in the city to meet all those involved in this key project to ensure the long term future of Devonport’s role in our nuclear deterrent.
It was a great opportunity to meet Commodore Roe, who has been in post for just a few weeks, and discuss a range of local defence projects with the Minister, including the marine autonomy work taking place at Turnchapel.
