Popped into Ermington Store and More recently and, of course, couldn't leave empty-handed!
I picked up a book about the Pinwill sisters, Mary, Ethel and Violet. They grew up in Ermington and first learned woodcarving during the restoration of the village church before setting up their own workshop. Their work can still be found in churches across Devon, Cornwall and much further afield today.
It's always nice to pop into our local independent shops, have a browse and come away with something a little different. Looking forward to giving this one a read!!
