A warm welcome at Plymstock’s Over 60s Club!
It was great to spend the afternoon with everyone at the Over 60s Club at Plymstock Community Centre yesterday.
The group meets every Monday from 2pm to 4pm, and it was lovely to chat with so many people, answer questions and hear about some of the concerns they have been having. There are quite a few things I’ll now be taking up on their behalf.
The club has a fantastic programme throughout the year, with everything from guest speakers and quizzes to day trips and plenty of social events. It’s a brilliant way to meet new people and enjoy being part of the local community.
If you know someone who might enjoy coming along, please do share this post with them. I know they’d receive a very warm welcome. I’m also looking forward to arranging for them to come up to Westminster at some point in 2027!
