A great improvement for Ivybridge!
It was great to see the improvements to Route 2 of the National Cycle Network in Ivybridge.
From the A38 onto Cornwood Road, this is a busy route used by lots of local residents every day, so it’s really good to see it widened and resurfaced, with safer crossings and improvements to make it easier for people walking, wheeling and cycling.
I was pleased to support efforts to secure funding from National Highways for this project. Congratulations to PL21 Transition for their tireless work alongside the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust to help make it happen, and thank you to Devon County Council and South Hams District Council for the part they played in delivering the scheme.
