It was a real pleasure to meet students and staff at Oreston Community Academy last week!
While I’ve been able to support the school previously with casework and practical matters, it was fantastic to have a longer and more in depth visit.
After Headteacher, Mrs Chivers gave me a tour of the school, I was delighted to spend some time with the School Council, who asked thoughtful questions about my role as an MP and life in Parliament.
It’s clear the school provides a fantastic environment for learning, and I was so impressed by the enthusiasm of both staff and pupils.
Thank you to the dedicated staff for such a warm welcome – I look forward to visiting again soon!
