Earlier this month, I was pleased to meet with Dr Waterman and local parents from Wembury.
Dr Waterman invited me to join them at Wembury Surgery so we could discuss the issues experienced by many local families in accessing support for their children with neurodiversity and special educational needs. Whilst this subject is not new to me, indeed I get a lot of casework related to this, it was incredibly helpful to meet with several families in one go.
I remain committed to fighting for the most vulnerable in South West Devon, and particularly want to ensure that all of our children and young people get the best start in life.
A big thank you to Dr Waterman, practice manager Polly, Dr Holland and the families for taking the time to discuss this vital issue with me.
