Later this week, the Conservatives are holding an Opposition Day debate on rural life.
South West Devon is a constituency with both strong urban centres and rural communities and I’m grateful to represent them all. Whether you live in a more urbanised part of South West Devon and enjoy visiting a local pub on Dartmoor, walking, riding or cycling our beautiful trails, or spending time in the villages we are proud to call home – rural life matters to you too.
And if you are part of a rural community, I know there are real concerns facing you, from access to services and transport to housing, farming, and the future of our village high streets.
