Great to welcome Em to Parliament recently
It was great to have Em Hardacre with us in Parliament recently for a week’s work experience.
We met at the hairdressers in Elburton about the Adoption Support Fund, so it was lovely to welcome her to Parliament and show her a bit more of how things work behind the scenes!
During her time here, Em got a real insight into how things work day to day in Parliament, including sitting in on debates in the Chamber, helping the team with briefing notes, and seeing first-hand how a busy office runs.
A big thank you to my brilliant team for making opportunities like this possible and for supporting students like Em to gain a real insight into parliamentary life.
