I know many of you have raised concerns about the condition of the Cadleigh to Cornwood Road, and I’ve been actively seeking updates on planned improvements.
I have now received a response from Devon County Council and am pleased to share that patching works along this route are scheduled for delivery during this financial year, with work expected to start in September 2025. This will prepare the road for surface dressing treatment planned for Summer 2026.
In the meantime, I would urge you to keep up the pressure on the County Council to get this road fixed, by continuing to report specific potholes and other damage to the road directly to them through their website: www.devon.gov.uk/roads-and-transport/report-a-problem/ or by calling them on 0345 1551004.
